Last year I got fed up with taking post-workout supplements because every time I tell someone what I'm drinking I get the...

you only need 2 things pretty much.. (good diet is assumed)

1. whey protein

good for directly after the work out. fill it up before you leave the gym and drink. you can also drink one in the morning with a carb like toast if you are in a hurry.

2. creatine

you need to drink at least 2 litres of water a day. on the first litre or 500 ml, put a spoon of creatine in the water and drink throughout the day.

some say get it in before workout.. i say it doesnt matter when just do it every day same amount.
