I'm not letting that Frank Vogel/Kevin Young shytshow last year get me down, you already know what time it is!

We got 2 actual point guards and real players on the roster now so I expect a lot more consistency out of this team with Bud at the helm. People gonna talk shyt and sleep on this team until they realize we not underdogs halfway through the season
full

Just for the love of God please stay somewhat healthy this year :sadcam:

Opening night, let's get it! Suns brehs assemble:blessed:

I think bolstering the pg situation will probably get us out of the 1st rd this year.I just don't trust the front court & KD being a year older.I think Beal has to go.He just never really seems to fit in.On top of that, he's starting to look more & more like Brandon Knight out there.Wish they could trade him for some front court help.If Tyus Jones has a career yr/Ryan Dunn performs at a ROY type level, I think we could potentially make a Finals run.I just don't know if we'd have enough to beat the Celtics, tho.....But yeah, the season to me hinges on Tyus having the best yr of his career & Ryan Dunn actually being the biggest steal of the draft.

I actually really like Beal. When it allows Kd to sit more and have another allstar scorer out there with or without Booker. It’s not a perfect fit but it’s a luxury. Even missing shots in the preseason, his role looked very valuable in the minutes without one of them.

I can only like him as a 6th man. That should be his designated role.I just don't see the chemistry when him, Book, and KD are on the floor together.Maybe they still need more time to gel, but altogether, the offensive flow seems broken up to this point.Beal has a tendency to over-dribble & hold on to the ball longer than he should.I appreciate his forays to the basket at times.Especially in those parts of the game where the Suns are playing unaggressive & need a spark.I just reckon it would be better coming off the bench.

I think on this team he is the 6th man and will play a lot of those minutes when booker and/or kd is off the floor. He’s starting out of respect. Beal injuries are the only drawback to me. He was really good for us last year despite horrible coaching. But I’m one of the few that thought a point guard was a great addition but not a NEED. I want the ball in those 3 hands a lot. Bud has the system keep the moving and make it work.

Them turnovers in tight game situations were brutal last season.I'm delighted to see a couple legit pg's added to the team.I think KD, Book, and Beal could work if they went less ISO heavy; but it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.I think all three should work on catching the ball & going right into their offensive execution. With the objective of getting their shot off within 3 seconds. They just have to be more efficient out there. All 3 have a tendency to go ISO, over-dribble, and get sloppy with the ball.Which led to the Suns being historically poor in the clutch last year.Gonna be interesting to see which lineups coach Bud goes with to close out games.

I think the 4th quarter issues was all Vogel and I always have :yeshrug: This roster is a lot better than last years though, that’s not a question.

I agree Vogel's pretty much an inept offensive mind at the NBA level, but the big 3 didn't make it any better with their sloppy ball security.I have faith in coach Bud, tho.I trust he'll put the right guys in place to make us more efficient at that end of the floor.
