I agree. How can you be happy with your partner if you aint happy with oneself. You can have the perfect woman for you, as 2pac says a "Queen", but as a man your trying to build yourself up as a king (becoming a independent man, ect.)

Sounds like he did that interview yesterday.Talking about the duplicity in the sexes and how men are turning to men and women are turning to women because we've forgotten our roles.

"She needs to be comfortable with me being in charge" Under the correct circumstances, i'll co-sign this. Feel like the man needs to have his head on straight, and take into account both sides and has a sense of morale/cognizant thinking, what women wouldnt be with that? It imo takes confidence and a certain level of trust that whomever you choose to be with will respect,honor, and protect you

Through Time, many outlooks and situations have made folks expect too much from each other that doesnt require much communication i think. Now everybody and there momma is meant to please you . Once you out for self, out of sync w/ no foundation being a relationship with a man or woman doesnt always aid that.
