Hey everybody who said it will be worse than 2008: I agree now.

Over a month into this shyt and the government hasnt made a plan. Just UBI till the crisis is over would have went a long way to keeping people afloat...now business and people will be broke and a ton of jobs are going away forever. Im already making post-lockdown career plans cause this gonna touch everyone. Our government failed us.

The Coli was saying how the Corona Virus is more important than the economy and how companies are just greedy:yeshrug:
Ffs, the economy was not going to just roll along if we didnt shut shyt down. People would be dropping dead at home, in jobs, and filling up hospitals and then all the little good soldiers would whine about why the government wasnt doing anything. Suddenly folks arent moving cause they dont know who has it and instead of mandatory lockdowns, we got voluntary lockdowns when todays keke is tomorrows “Did you hear that Erics mother and father died last week?”

:lupe:

We need to figure out a way to be safe and let ppl work.

shyts about to get bad in America, foreclosures, homeless people, new shanty towns, bank runs.
And crime. shyts about to get real spooky :to:

Imagine being so incompetent that now the populace has to choose between The Great Depression and Socialism or The Great Depression and 1918 Spanish Flu. :mjlol:

Brehs want easy answers to difficult problems. If there was an easy answer I am sure someone would have done it by now.

There is a difference though between The Great Depression and now: people don’t want to work.

At least here in San Diego, every store I go to is hiring. Target, Wal Mart, Supermarket, gas stations, there is opportunity to work.

Also, of those jobless, some are creating income without a specific company (Lyft/Uber, doordash, shypt, grub hub) etc.

I’m not saying it’s not bad, because I understand a middle manager not wanting to go be a stock boy, but it’s different :yeshrug:

Bruh, by now you would think people would stop pretending just letting it all be open would have solved anything. shyt would have been ever worse. I dont want lockdown, but our government has no alternative. This is a gigantic failing. We keep getting hit with new bugs every few years and this administration did zero.
