When's the cruise though? New Japan would be killing the U.S. Championship (not that it matters much anyway) if they put it on Jericho and he pulls a Brock and doesn't defend it for months. Also I don't even remember the last time an IWGP Championship changed hands outside of a New Japan show (I think Nakamura and the IC title in Mexico) so I don't think that lazy fukk Gedo would do that.
