Zombies genre ain't gone no where. Train to Busan remake coming out too. Always a zombie show or movie in some form.
This is the start of a new trilogy, and they've already shot the second movie
Nia Dacosta (Candyman) directing that, same writer wrote all 3 (alex garland)
TLOU 2 HBO and 28 Years Later in the same summer
Candyman was wack but from a cinematography standpoint it was well shot so this should be solid since the foundation of the ideas is the same

Yeah it did because their formula was so repetitive. Train to Busan tried something different even if it was just zombies on a train. Zombies on cruise ship I'm surprised hasn't been done yet lol. Black Summer tried something a bit different too. But Asian market took over the zombie genre it seems.
