They dealt their own hand. They could’ve help dictate the west playoff picture but they chose to rest their entire A and B squad the whole last week of the season knowing they basically have the a extra week off becuz of the playin. It’ll be two weeks since the starters played a whole game of competitive ball, let alone meaningful ball.
That said, outside of the grizzlies, the warriors were the matchup I wanted most for Houston. Yeah they have the Houston’s number but talent wise they’re a better matchup than Minnesota for us. Ant kills Houston. So does Reid.
Steph can go off, but we’ve done a better job against him than Ant or even Ja. Steph averaging 16 points on 36% shooting from the field against Houston. It’s the role players that have hurt Houston. Podz, Gp and Hield. I’d rather worry about them and Steph then Ant, Donte and Reid. Plus we’ve played the warriors 5 times this season so we’re pretty familiar with them
Definitely didn’t want to see Clippers now that they’re healthy.
