UBI would lead people to actually be more productive because they’d be free to do more constructive things with their lives instead of trapped in worthless jobs simply to tread water in life.

That being said capitalism won’t allow UBI because it depends on a poor and working class to exploit.

99% of these idiots "trapped in worthless jobs" dont even realize that that job might be the only thing keeping them on a straight and narrow path in life. you give them idle time and they instantly become opiate addicts, fat, in poor health...etc. that shyt is a disaster waiting to happen.

Everyone should be able to have a basic standard of living. The issue is much of the money and resources are hoarded by the wealthy. Right now someone who simply has more money than you can generate your annual income in a day simply because they have more money. Something that takes you effort can be generated passively by them.
