Brehs help me understand why the electoral college map is so close when Biden won 306 - 232 a mere four years ago against Trump.

Is there a logical fallacy to use that map as a baseline for 2024? Even if we assume there’s some attrition on states for example (I’m not convinced there is)… let’s say GA and VA go red… Kamala has 274 electoral votes still

What am I missing?

You'll have to ask the posters who hate the protestors, have no knowledge of the history or purpose of political protests, and found nothing wrong with her initial tone and approach of telling them to vote for Trump if they're mad enough to protest the Administration she's a part of. Those posters might have a problem with Kamala's response in this video, but it's exactly what the rest of us were asking her to do: respecting the protestors and their right to do so, acknowledging the validity of their actions and cause, and attempting to bring them back into the fold by reiterating her support for their cause and pledging to do more to end the genocide. Just glad her campaign team also agreed with us and recognized what a mistake that initial response was and made her change her approach.

Biden won by small margins in the individual swing states so if you go by the 2020 map then by default it’s a toss up.
