It's this. Trump has only cared about himself and self-preservation. Everything he does is to benefit only himself. Whoever posted the guy talking about PTSD is probably accurate to a degree, and that could have been the case if he mellowed out. However, that hasn't happened.

It's gotten lost in the excitement about Harris/Walz, but Trump is due to be sentenced on September 18th and there is a real possibility he actually has to go to jail (probably for a month or two at the most) or at best be on house arrest.
