I shouldn’t be, but I’m really am surprised at people having strong feelings about the VP pick

No matter a VP record they’re going to support whatever the presidents policies.
A lot of the attention is because Kamala doesn't have a strong ideological record or lineage so this pick is one of the first and only signals we have as to what direction her administration would take.
