Dodd-Frank was a band aid that didn’t solve the predatory behavior banks still engage in. It did stabilize the market but was underwhelming. Glass-steagle was a far better and more effective law, pass something ineffective isn’t worth celebrating. His infrastructure bill was a half-measure and he admitted as much. He could have codifying roe if he fought for it.

I think people ignore just how big Barack was when he got into office and the pressure he should have been putting on people to fall in line to get what he wanted done.

I think people ignore how much pressure he DID put on people to get even "underwhelming" legislation through. Gettting Obamacare passed caused a bloodbath in the midterms. This idea that he was going to swing his nuts as the first black president and get sweeping progressive legislation through is pure fantasy.
