Mixed martial arts is what it says. A mix of martial arts. The art is what you make it. It seems like a white sport because it's new, can be fairly expensive and is not readily available in black communities. The martial arts pipeline for black people is boxing. Times are changing though. I'd say I'd you want to learn your own brand of mma learn wrestling and boxing and or wrestling and kickboxing. It may be a while before the lineage of of black belts reach communities that don't want it. In Los Angeles mexicans and whites are learning the arts and you have a small handful of bruhs in these classes getting it in. Hopefully they'll trailblaze for us

But right now you need to be learning whatever is going to make you some money now that the white man's back in office, unless you truly have a passion for these arts
