The gap between what Trump promises and what he delivers has always been very wide.

In his last term he basically just ruled like a normal Republican (which is awful), but only via the Muslim ban and the Child Separation policy did he deviate at all from a typical conservative. And both of those were absolute debacles for him.

This time it is a very different moment, however. This is post Jan 6th, his campaign is by far the most fascist and radical in US history, and the adults in the room were all fired.

How effective he is with a bunch of MAGA retards trying to run shyt is an open question. Regardless, the administrative state is going to get absolutely fukked up, either by design or sheer incompetence.

Will we have actual fascism come to America? I doubt it. But this is going to be far worse than his first term.

Man, it really seeking that I won't ever see a woman president or the restoration of their freedom in my lifetime. I just feel really bad for my wife more than anything.

Had to talk my daughter down from feeling so much despair over the results.

It sucks, it will sting for a while but ultimately we will be fine.

Every election we tell ourselves we gotta win or it’s the end of the world, but ultimately whatever trajectory your wife’s live was on before this result, she will still maintain that life.

Trump moved the embassy and signed off the Golan heights to Israel in his first term.We know the West Bank is about to be signed off too in the second term.

What's is the end game for the protest vote? That a democrat president will undo all that in 2028?

How about standing on principle and not casting a vote for the administration that co-signed a genocide and failed for a whole year to keep their promise of a cease fire?
