Not looking to argue, but, in this country boys are taught to grow up and be fathers and husbands and provide for their families.

By the time they get 18--old enough to vote, the reality starts setting in, especially if they not going to college.

The majority of teachers are women--particularly white.

And boys are being told early; if you not measuring up to the standards of girls, you're failing.

Sorry, masculinity is a natural phenonium. And while there should be limits, boys ain't even being allowed to be themselves in grade school and college spaces.

Ain't much fight you can put up when parents only paid attention to report cards.

A lot of these online boys spaces are also teaching them ways to make money in nontraditional ways and are the only places in media affirming them.

Yes, 100% percent this places lean heavy conservative and racist.

But, the alternative is "step aside young men, girls are running shyt" or "You're success comes at the expense of women no matter how hard you work."

It's complicated.

But, in short--we've ignored them (young men/boys) and told them they don't really matter.
i agree that boys are ignored. i also think that there is going to be increasingly less opportunity for boys or girls to provide for families as long as capital accumulates at the top of society. the ascendence of girls in public life just happens to coincide with later-stage capitalism and its need for higher productivity and consumption while paradoxically making it harder for more people to consume as time passes.

people outside the right-wing ecosystem have been rejecting masculinity for a few decades and that is to our detriment because the right-wing gets to influence boys without competition. a lot of this is a pendulum swinging situation with the rise of academic feminism and intersectionality discourse which while important is also often lacking in some empirical basis and can get counterproductive.

we definitely have to figure out how to do better for all people.

the tariffs arent happening. it was a stupid campaign promise. and his whole thing was tariffs IF we eliminate the income tax
You’re more confident than I am.

Cause blood is in the water Russia and China. If they really want to change the balance of the world economy under BRICS then this will be their chance and Trump will respond in kind.

@FAH1223 I told you akhi. Shapiro was a better VP pick.

Thinking Shapiro would have made a difference with this electorate is just cope

Dems turned out their voters but more people came out to vote against them.

High turnout helps the GOP

Dems are doing well in midterms and special elections that are LOWER turnout

Beshear was the right choice. A safe white guy from a traditional red state.
He might be the nominee in 2028
