There are probably a million things Kamala or Biden could have done better to pull this out. I'm not an expert in these things. I'll leave it to those who are to figure out where things went wrong.
But the guy running across from her is a senile old man with 34 felony convictions behind him who literally tried to steal the 2020 election and incited a riot at the capitol after a four-year term as President where he got a million Americans killed during Covid. That enough Americans seriously looked at that guy and thought he should be President again is the biggest issue here, and I'm not sure there was anything that could be done about that.
America is just doomed at this point. And unlike in 2020, I don't think we'll get another chance to save ourselves.
