How so? We should all want Kamala to be a successful President. The point of winning the election isn't just to win the election, it's to do something positive as President.

And how is it fair that Kamala is just using the Cheneys to win the election and gives them nothing in return? I don't think they're that stupid. They did the right thing and supported Kamala, and they should be given a seat at the table like Kamala promised. Liz Cheney is getting frickin death threats. She and her father stood up for the constitution and democracy. If the Cheneys were all bad, then why would Kamala be legitimizing their stamp of approval? I'm not saying Kamala has to make them the shadow President/VP, but she should be willing to listen to their ideas and incorporate the good ones into her agenda. As Kamala said, they've done a great service to this country. We need more patriots in the white house.

I dunno Kamala been effusively thanking him for his support and what he's done for this country, so maybe he wasn't that bad of a guy after all

I think the Bush guys might have gotten a bad rap, yeah they made some mistakes but every administration makes mistakes. at least we know their heart was in the right place unlike Trump. I want Kamala to represent all people in this country and all ideas. I may not agree with all of the things Cheney and the neocons did, but they do have a lot of experience in government and represent a better time in this country when things were more normal. Like at least they didn't try to overthrow the frickin government. I dunno, I don't think it would be too bad to have dikk Cheney and some neocons in a limited advisory role in the Harris administration, she could really use their expertise in foreign policy. Kamala is right when she says it's important to respect all ideas, even the ones we disagree with.
