They're in Michigan, she obviously knew what they were protesting. Heckling at a rally is a long-established practice in an active democracy. They obviously succeeded in getting noticed, and Kamala's response is only going to activate and negatively polarize more of them. Nasty mistake imo.

She doubled down on the notion that it is a Liberal ticket which she doesn't need in swing states. It's a big political mistake. He was called Genocide Joe because he was directly, actively aiding and abetting a genocide. His statements when being heckled didn't erase his actions. They're protesting Kamala because she is in the Biden administration and hasn't come out with a strong statement or policy addressing this issue. Many of the protestors and Uncommitted movement people have given Kamala the space and opportunity to forge a new path and bring them back into the fold. That's why Genocide Kamala isn't a slogan yet. But if her response to being pressed for the first time is to fold and tell them to go vote for Trump, that's a terrible omen.

Yeah generally people who have no actual political ideology or moral conviction are incapable of seeing the basic difference between rhetoric and action. So a politician saying something good or bad is indistinguishable from a politician doing something good or bad. Which is how we got to this point in our political landscape where lying is so commonplace.
