Always been this way. During the regular season it's new, but over a long series, hitters get their timing down on these guys.
Assuming the Dodgers finish off the Mets, the Yankees will have an advantage in the World Series.

Had the 2nd slider been called a ball and brought the count to 2-0, I think Gattis would have just pitched and Soto and went to Judge. But instead the called strike gave him enough courage to try and pitch to him
