2024 Gaming Predictions

Hello fellow gamers of the Coli. With 2024 just a few weeks away, what do you predict will be announced for the gaming world next year?

My predictions are as followed:

1. Resident Evil 9 will be announced for a release date between Sept and November 2024. Jill Valentine or Claire Redfield as the protagonist.

2. Nintendo will reveal the Switch 2 and The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess or Wind Waker remake will be one of the few launch titles to show off the new console's power.

3. Square Enix will reveal Kingdom Hearts 4. Final Fantasy Tactics remake will be revealed.

4. Mega Man 12 will be announced.

5. A new Marvel vs Capcom game anouncement.

6. Digimon World 5.

7. Borderlands 4.

8. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sequels announced, which will be a quick cash grab as the last 2 Switch Pokemon games , while Gamefreak work on Gen 10 and Black/White remakes for a 2025/26 release on Switch 2.

I don't see that happening until 2026. RE4R just came out and RE 5 is gonna need a complete remake from the ground up to put it on the same level as RE2R and RE4R and remove the crappy parts of the game.
