The generally positive responses Toyota received from the Supra (and 86, to an extent) got them saying, "You know what? If other manufacturers aren't giving the people what they desire, that leaves an open market for us to tap into."


This resurgence of "pocket rockets" is great and reignites new life into a scene that is hungry for these zippy and gnarly micro machines.


To be frank, I have never called a toyota cool for decades (only recently with the Sup and the TRD Killa Camry)... but i'm really excited for the future and hopefully this sparks a new movement/encourages fellow japanese automakers to resurrect and modernize models like the Sylvia, Rx7/8, MR2, EVO, etc.... and if Subaru starts manning up, the STI (and sedan and wagon).


Would love for Honda to bring back the Prelude and the S2K as well. The fan favs from highschool. haha.



And btw, while we're at it... the lines on the GR Corolla > Type R.
