Speedball will put on some great matches in AEW no doubt, but that Ricochet spot is wide open in the E and I think he would be a great fit for that role…

Character wise, if the E couldn’t do anything with Rico, who is currently rising with that area, what chance does Mike have? I’m only familiar with him prior to his return, but he wasn’t showing much besides his in-ring ability.

And booking. I’m sure he’ll get some shine, but what other high flyers have been used more than just filler matches? Rico had moments here and there, but the stuff with Logan Paul is what gave him his biggest spotlight. Dragon Lee was fukkin great before he signed with the E. Now he’s just doing Main Event and Speed. :francis:

Rico’s spot was pretty much mid card spot act which isn’t the worst position to be in…never gonna amount to more than a transitional IC or US reign at best but it’s not the worst place to be…

I think he would work well in NXT where they can lean into the WMAC Masters gimmick, but on the main roster they'd probably put him with Otis and Tozawa nem.

I’m not saying every wrestler needs to be in the main event, but just because someone is floating in midcard doesn’t mean they’re used well. Besides the Logan Paul storyline, what else did Rico do on the main roster that was standing out in its own right? The US/IC titles weren’t even treated like they are now when Rico was champ.

Dude was basically in the “here’s something for you to do to give you some tv time to kill” role. He’s been showing more personality in his last few weeks in AEW than anything in NXT/WWE. :skip:

It was crazy that Sam was being gassed to the moon and they seemed to want to avoid them two in a storyline.

Hell, isn't that what she wanted; to be used as more than an announcer?
