What? I've read brehs in TSC say people over 36 are "too old" to be treated like the top guy in a company (if he hasn't had that role before) or "too old" for a company to sign them + give them a main event push

Yes, I've read some retarded ass takes in TSC (let alone other places) like saying people are too old to be signed by WWE because they are "too old" when they are not even 40 yet.

Their entire upper card is pushing 40 so singling out Lashley who’s aging the best of them all is strange. Usually everyone considers the women old when they hit 35 but when it’s the guys it’s until they show they’re physically declined.

People have to stop treating wrestling like a legit sport. If Flair looked like he did in the 90s he would still be wrestling for some company, and if Matt could still move like he did in 2003 he'd be in line for a mega push. Seeing people on Twitter say that Lashley isn't as athletic as Lesnar which makes him limited is dumb as fukk, because Lashley is one of the most genetically gifted people in the business.

MORE ON BOBBY LASHLEY AND MVP'S WWE STATUS

As we noted earlier, there has been an expectation among some that Bobby Lashley and MVP could be exiting WWE when their current deals expire.

In the case of MVP, we are told his current WWE deal is up in mid-August and there have not been any major discussions as of yet about a new deal. There had been some talk about potentially using him as a Producer or announcer, but nothing ever really came about in either role, although there we are told there was some sort of tryouts at some point. WWE still has MVP listed under the Misc. section of their internal talent list.

In the case of Bobby Lashley, we are told that there was a WWE contract offer made but it wasn't one that immediately made him "jump to sign" as one source commented and that Lashley has strongly considered seeing what he would be worth out on the market. We were not able to confirm as of this writing when Lashley's current deal would expire. Lashley is still listed on the Smackdown roster internally. Lashley last wrestled in May.

As we noted, the belief within WWE is each will likely exit when their deals expire. Obviously, the pair together would be worth something, especially with Shelton Benjamin also available should a promotion seek to reform their former The Hurt Business stable. The name could not be used outside of WWE, as they own the trademark on it.

he's still a crowd favorite and an asset to the company but its very clear what they have mapped out in the main event and title scenes on both shows. so unless hes fine taking the L to Gunther or Cody he'll have to accept being back around the US title. really he should be on mixing it up with Bron, Ilja, Damien etc on Raw. he doesn't suit Smackdown for whatever reason

or you go and rinse Tony Khan for as much money as you can get out of him to do the bare minimum over there
