come on brehYou can still deduct 10k in property taxes and if I read the last updated article correctly possibly include your state/local taxes. Again though 10k in property taxes isn't that out of the norm and the larger negative effects on home values should be kept in mind.
The business insider article I shared recently highlighted the percentage of houses paying over 10k a year in property taxes in some areas and it was in the 50% range. My girl works part time and doesn't make much and has already paid around 5k in local and state taxes so far this year.
I understand people who live in NY, Cali, and NJ aren't real Americans or whatever, Bro, but the bottom rungs of the tax brackets got crumbs tax folks are talking about $60 a year in savings, and they didn't do anything for child care benefits and they're about to ruin their health insurance.
