The responses from these GOP politicians is legit blowing my mind right now.

"Non corporate business income."

"So sexist it's unbelievable."

"I didn't know they added a provision that would save me millions."

These motherfukkers are so comfortable with just spitting nonsense at us like we can't read.
This is what happens when a party controls all levels of government.

Some argue corruption :hula: others will say its making government efficient.

It's damn near impossible to reverse tax cuts. Don't assume corporatist Dems are going to raise taxes on corporations.

They get donations from these very same lobbyists.
Exactly. They are better, but not that much better as it relates to this. This is the sort of economic policy a nation doesn’t recover from, raising taxes on the poor to slash taxes on the rich. It devastates education, healthcare, safety nets, infrastructure, and anything else you could think of that taxes pay. You have to stop shyt like this before it happens.

That’s why we aren’t reversing their tax cuts.

We are going to grow the government. We are going to go hire 1,000,000 teachers, we are going to build 100,000 new schools. We are going to rebuild every single road 8x. And we are going to use their projections. Cutting taxes will stimulate growth? Alright, let’s tax their assets at 99% since we are going be in an economic boom. That’s what we do in economic upswings: we raise taxes.

Thanks republicans for growing the economy. :troll:

i could see them at least trying to look impartial and kicking the tax rate up to 28% [still lower than now]
or up to 25% from this current taxscam 21%

for all i care they could keep it at 21% if they could get the defense budget under 50%

Typically true, but you can definitely raise taxes after or during an economic crash and get away with it under the guise of adding services or other social programs, and a crash is coming in the next four to six years.

This is where the European socialist wing of the Democratic Party needs to be organized and ready to strike, and no, Bernie alone isn't going to do this shyt. He needs to be working right now to get like Senate and House members to get on the same page, maybe start a caucus in the House that's way to the left of corporatist Democrats that run the party.

But that's the thing, it's not about you. You didn't vote for this. Your opposition is already registered, and depending on what state you're in, and who your elected representatives are, you're probably already fighting against this tax bill.

It's about conning the idiots who vote republican, and believe in trickle down economics.

It's about bolstering the patronizing viewpoint that many well off Americans have about others who don't make their income.

I believe the only reason Dems are voting unanimously against this deal is because it's going to pass anyway.

If Dem votes could make a difference I believe a few of them would end up supporting the tax plan.

Even if Dems held power in all three branches of government, I doubt they are going to have the balls to raise Corporate taxes.

The GOP will run a campaign of job killing tax increases and the Dems will happily fold.

They were barely able to let the Bush tax cuts on the very wealthy expire. Sad state of affairs we have going on right now.

I think Hilary losing is proof that the corporate third way is dead.
