They really always have to attach the idea of taxes to social services and stuff people use instead of some separate entity. Gotta be about things being taken away from you over tax jargon.
People who vote for this party don’t care who it affects. My grandparents knowingly supported a full ACA repeal knowing I’d be spending hundreds every month on medication instead of $2-3 every month if it were fully repealed. They support it anyway. This bill makes it harder to receive cancer treatments or be covered in this event. My oldest friend’s dad had chemo last year. One of the nicest people I know. My parents still supported a repeal even though he wouldn’t have been able to get treatment. My grandparents did too even though my great grandfather and great uncle both died from cancer. My mother had breast cancer. A full ACA repeal and denial for pre existing conditions would mean no health care for her. Her and my grandparents still supported a full repeal. That’s your rank and file republican voter. Support any bill they propose even when it would kill people close to you. You can’t reason with these people. They’re cult followers st this point. The big move here is to make sure that enough voters don’t get kept from voting so these people can’t keep doing this.
