Point is you know they wouldn't do that so it's kinda useless. I'd rather defend what's in place than suggest what he did. It also shows what the Republican party's true intentions are. Acting like they're cutting taxes for the middle class for their sake when we know the point is to cut taxes for the very rich smaller and smaller to then go we can't afford such and such. It buys into the conservative idea of taxation burdening the middle class when the real problem is the very rich/corporations not paying enough.

Irrelevant now anyway :manny: :handshake:

1 am on a friday... watching Cspan :upsetfavre::snoop:

It's not useless as it makes them publicly vote it down as you just saw. If they wanted to compromise there's there chance. That's the only way to defend this put out amendments and watch them side with corporations.
25% instead of 20% s still a vast improvement for the middle class and the national deficit.

Beats pretending it isn't happening.

Have the Dems ever needed to use a VP in this capacity so actively?

This will also harm a lot of high tax states that will now either have to run deficits or cut services.

This bill is literally a trillion(s) dollar handout to corporations and the 1% at the expense of the everyday American.

With the destruction of SALT expect property values to fall as second homes and possibly primary homes will likely flood the market and make homeownership less rewarding and a secure asset.
