Was 2015 the greatest year in music this decade? Hip hop, I really think has a case. Granted, we still have to get thru 2019 to definitively say, but my early vote for greatest year of the 2010s (2010-2019) is 2015...

Here are some of the classics and near-classics released in 2015:

To Pimp A Butterfly (Kendrick Lamar)
If You're Reading This It's Too Late (Drake)
What A Time To Be Alive (Future/Drake)
Dirty Sprite 2 (Future)
You Should Be Here (Kehlani)
Beauty Behind The Madness (The Weeknd)
Documentary 2/2.5 (Game)
It's Better This Way (Big Krit)
Summertime Shootout (Fabolous)

These are just off the top I can remember banging all year, I know I'm forgetting some. Everybody feel free to post other classic/near-classic albums from '15, and if yall feel another year this decade was stronger than '15, let's chop it up!

I know for me, I was playing all this shyt into 2016, both years were hella fun and wild for me. I got good memories of the music that dropped that year, and honestly I'm a guy who listens more to music of my adolescence (2000s/2000-2009) more than to modern music or older shyt (I listen to about as much 90s shyt as I do today's shyt)...

Let's tall about it!

Jay Rock dropped "90059", Scarface came back with "Deeply Rooted" also Freddie Gibbs with "Shadow Of A Doubt" towards the end of the year. 2015 was a solid year
