2013-2014 Apple Gaming Console? Coming? Probably

So I remember reading back years ago, when Sega died and Microsoft announced they would be building the first Xbox entering the Gaming world, Apple had thoughts of soon entering the market also, I mean the thought isn't far fetched at all, Apple always had that anything Microsoft can do we can do better type of attitude about products. But it's been a few years and no talk about Apple and the hidden Gaming agenda they may pop on the world..
I would give them about 2014 and I predict Apple will announce a Gaming Machine, maybe it will be a full Media/Gaming Box.. But I repeat Apple does plan on tapping into this Market like Microsoft did.

apple dont even have to put much effort into it either... just throw the iphone/ipad processor into it... have developers add gamepad support and they already got a huge library of games

Yupp, they are great at building operating systems and interfaces better than Microsoft.. so they ONLINE Interface for the system would be ... and if they could get 3rd party support... omggg this would make the GAMING MARKET EXCITING AGAIN!

No a full GAMING MACHINE.. That has the ability to play Hardcare Games and can still perform the task to play the Mini Apple games from Ipad ...

True, Liquid.. and im counting my money Apple is gonna tap into this market, and I doubt Apple would flop, I dont know if they would be #1 but ..Apple has a very strong loyal fanbase and good products to bqck the brand name.

Smh. People wanna play games/apps on a TV? They can do this by connecting a mini HDMI or a mhl cable to most devices. Then using the ps3 controller. Smh. Have you seen what most phones are capable of nowadays?

Why not if it has Gaming also? the Xbox 360 is a media hub and it has apps.. PS3 is a media center with Arcades and Apps also. The Mini games could be the machines Arcades. Xbox8 is rumored to have the Windows 8 mobile on it, why wouldnt Apple do the same and make it compatiable to the other gadgets and software plus make it a Gaming machine for developers.
