I still don't know what makes anyone a "technical wrestler" nowadays. That style has been dead for years imo

Most of this awards go by default to whatever Meltzer is pimping at the time. He's been very high (and very late) on New Japan and Tanahashi this last 2 years and it shows in the voting. There's no way Tana should've won most outstanding wrestler over guys like Okada and Punk but it's whatever at this point.

The fact that Raw let TNA Impact be a better show than them truly tells you the state of the WWE, as far as dem asscheeks goes , where's the "TNA Best Cameramen" award at?

I actually agree in TNA being a better weekly show than WWE RAW. RAW, taken by itself, no people to talk fukkery with is UNWATCHABLE. I cannot sit through 1 hour let alone 3 hours of crap. TNA actually had matches going longer than 7 minutes and for most of the show.

That being said, Tana did put him over like a hero, and did close out every show the second half of the year with bangers.

PWG should be behind NJPW as best promotion. Dragon Gate was pretty miserable this year.

That being said, Tana did put him over like a hero, and did close out every show the second half of the year with bangers.

Wrestler of the Year I get because he's still New Japan's main star and they did have their best financial year in a long, long time.

But Okada had a better reign in the first half of the year. Had way better matches in the G-1 and was putting better performances when he wasn't with the belt compared to Tana. But like I said, most of this awards are like whatever at this point

PWG ain't never gonna get a lot of votes because Meltzer doesn't watch them so voters barely know that they are even a promotion

D Bryan all over the awards...when it counts, he always takes his gimmick back from Punk and prove he's the BEST IN THE WORLD AJ should of won best non wrestling role. She dominated main event results and directions. Heyman was just a title holder.

It makes no sense to rank japanese and american wrestlers together in the first place. Do you see that done in sports? Of course not, and in a similar vain, there is a huge difference between the objectives, style, and culture of japanese wrestling vs. American style wrestling. American fans treat wrestling as mindless entertainment, while japanese fans treat it as a sport....major cultural differences, but puro marks like Meltzer and his minions expect American wrestlers to behave and perform for a bunch of American fans that dont want anything to do with that kind of style. Its dumb as sht.

There should be separate categories for American and Japanese.
