I remember back in around 2006 there was a beer commercial where two dudes clinked beer bottles in a sports bar and they both noticed afterwards that it made a saliva thread between both bottles.
There was a record scratch, everyone in the bar gasped and looked at them and I think there was even an old guy in a ref uniform who made a "timeout" signal
This was during era of Hardee's swimsuit bimbo commercials, something like that will never be made again.
