As we've been reporting here on the website, WWE is planning to bring back several former talents. According to numerous sources, several of those names are expected to return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view this Sunday night.

Two names now confirmed for the 30-man Royal Rumble match are Carlito and Shelton Benjamin.

Benjamin has been working in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling since leaving WWE back in April 2010, winning the tag team titles in ROH and teaming with MVP in New Japan. He recently asked for and was granted his release from the company.

Carlito left WWE in 2010 and has been working the indy scene as well as overseas with WWC.

There is no word on MVP's status for the Royal Rumble as of this writing.

I edited it cause after watching the video he ain't in the tournament. It seems to be bums, Bo Dallas and PAC :heh:

Well that pretty much settles it, IMHO

They wouldn't offer this shot unless they wanted to test the waters and judge the pop as to whether to bring him up.

Same, I think Bo Dallas is terrible but they seem to be on high on him. I think Leo Kruger has been doing dark matches and touring with the main roster though so it could be him as well. I didn't know they had a dusty looking Sabian clone in NXT.

Bo Dallas looks so damn goofy.

I guess it's about time to bring back Shelton & Carlito and give them another try. :manny: Vince getting nostalgic for those early brand split days. Rodney Mack on the come up :win:
