The third day of ezoo, some huge edm/house party/ whatever music was cancelled today due to 2 people overdosing on some type of drug.

Do you think the people/the media are going to blame the edm culture, or are they going to brush it off?

What would happen if this happened at a hip hop festival instead?

nikka... Hip-Hop is the worse music genre because of the content. It influences young individuals to do dumb, irresponsible shyt. Whether take drugs, commit crimes, become involved in gang activity... that being said... I love Hip-Hop

The media and government have always been pretty hard on electronic/rave culture

It's a really fun show, I went last year, and some of my friends are there this year.


The who, what, whys, and what the city's response is will decide that. I'm guessing the City closed the event today not the other way around. Granted there's a "homicide scene" more or less.

Why does it have to be hiphop vs edm?

The real problem are lawmakers, drug laws, and lack of drug education.

Hip Hop is the only genre dumb enough to snitch on itself. Same rappers complaining about the hip hop police following them, have bar after bar talking about rolling around 24/7 with military level rifles. nikkas will dead ass use an entire verse to claim how credible their street connections are, then complain when they get pulled over with expired tags.
