And the news reporter is right about churches. Many would help out a mother with 5 kids. My church has done it plenty of times.

I watched her interview. Not one tear seemed to be shed by her. Her voice is quivering like she is crying, she states it hurts so bad, but there were no tears shed by her for those babies she lost.

I feel sorry for those children and the family that will miss them, but at the moment I am not certaIn that the mother is one of them.

She tried calling the city for help back in November, but nothing ever came of it for whatever reasons. They did admit that it was a fukk up on their part and that the family fell through the cracks.

I guess my question is why weren't they staying with relatives instead of waiting until now when two of them passed away.

It's possible she went into the casino to stay warm. Maybe she wasn't in the van all night. Maybe her kids weren't as layered as her. Could be alot factors.

I understand she was probably discouraged from not getting help the first go around, but she really should have kept calling or actually went there herself.

I just find it hard to believe that she couldn’t find any shelter or church anywhere that would take them in or help out.
