I mean…we don’t know the particulars, but was it happening on Thanksgiving day? “What else was yall doin?”… I’m assuming they were with their families champ. And if it wasn’t, did he make it obligatory for them to come support? Because he could have, he’s 2 Chainz…holding up a sign that says “Free Turkeys” by yourself looks like this was a spur of the moment idea. 🤷🏽‍♂️, if it was planned and promoted properly I’m pretty sure madd people would have supported

If he reached out to his homies directly and they dubbed him…I understand.

However if he threw some bullshyt together with minimal promo, went live on IG, and expected people to arbitrarily pull up…he need to get over himself.

One of the byproducts of social media is it makes people extremely passive in their personal relationships. Random group texts, DMs, and livestreams is what some people considered as having “communicated” with you and you’re a bad friend in their eyes if you don’t reply.

I always love catching up with a friend and they'll mention some random life event. I'll congratulate them and ask when it happened and they get mad and say "I posted it to social media". It's like some people don't comprehend that some people ain't on social media like that.

The one gets me is when people I know fairly well are like “Say man. You never replied to that DM/Facebook message.”

:dahell: nikka…you got my number. Why not just call or text me directly? shyt is super weird.

Because these turkey drives ain't sincere no more, they just weird photo ops and fake badges of honor for the n*ggas who put them together.

F*ck them $15-20 turkeys you giving away, buy some groceries, school clothes, pull up and give away bookbags and school supplies for back to school. Give people something they can use and then don't talk about it.

…and grocery stores was lightweight giving turkeys away. My wife went to buy the turkey the day before Thanksgiving and she showed me them jawns was marked down from like $39 to $7.99 type shhit, lol. And not just one brand or the ones that were old or sumn, all of them.

Still tho, some people ain’t got that 7 bucks so it’s always nice to give them away anyway…but I feel you, these guys only pop out on Thanksgiving apparently, feels madd disingenuous.
