Know your audience, make quantity and later quality, discover what people want to hear from your invested followers, like and comment on others, and try to work/learn from other producers via collabs, work with rappers (i work with most rappers that approach me) so my beats get to a larger audience and as these rappers improve you've got a rapport with them. eventually you'll attract some better rappers and more exposure. also get invovled with different forums and groups on SC, I find that that really helps too. enjoy yourself but be professional.

If you're rapping you better come with the heat as far as beats. Might wanna ask Roxx above for that cus he's been killing it on that last release.
