You're right it's not. And that's the type of mindset that'll forever have rap music looked at as a juvenile genre. We tell our legends to step off the stage. Shouts to NaS, Hov, Rakim and the rest of the older folks doing it. Now don't get me wrong, in a few years, Hov is gonna be wayyyy too old for me to wanna hear about him talking about material things. I hope he finds a way to adjust lanes before that really sets in. But someone like a NaS with bigger overall themes? I'm good with him rapping until he physically can't do it anymore.
