I watched it today.. I thought it depicted the chaos of war as well as any movie I’ve ever seen. There were a few heartwrenching scenes as well though I felt like the movie became more and more unrealistic as it progressed.

I need to see it but I swear Sam Mendes just remix stuff that Nolan has done being a risk taker and then racks up all the accolades.

Road to Perdition -alright, slept through most of it
Jarhead -aight
Revolutionary Road - not even winslet tiddays could get me thru it
Away We Go - bedwench bait, skipped it
Skyfall - third act was good
Spectre - a mess but not as bad as ppl say, i wouldn't see it again though
1917 - aight

I was referring more to Mendes’s latest work starting with Skyfall. 1917 remixed Dunkirk and evening used to the same font for the title.
