16, 32, 64 man freestyle BEAT tourney...who's interested

Props to @LauderdaleBoss doing his thing with the contests but I want to see a round robin tourney where Contestants just throw out their best work and keep it moving If you check back in the pages to the first few tourneys the support and quality was amazing I don't see how if the site has gotten bigger why this subforum, which is IMO the second most important element of hip hop, isn't thriving. Let's see who's interested and I will oversee it myself if need be. I know @Tom Foolery has always been valuable to these as well. I will come back at drop names to add once I go back and gather the info on the heavy hitters. Let's get it

I don't think you'll get 64 entries, let alone 32.

16 is possible, You can prolly just break up the match ups into 4's. (4 beats per thread) and each week you have 1 battle (1 thread with 4 producers)

By the end of the month, most will get eliminated and then you can do a final 4 in a new thread to start off the next month.

I'm just trying to find a way that a tourney works, but nikkas still hold the interest enough to vote each week. Too many people and you run the risk of cats entering and not being serious or following the rules, being late, etc....

You should start out with 16, if you can't do 16, go for 8 and just do the 2 man battles each week.

Prolly will need some sort of prize as well, but we'll see.

J/K but yes you are right and you are definitely setting it off right by make the horns battle a multi. As many cats as we got in here I don't see why we can't get at least 32 hell if we can get 32 then we can get a double elimination going

I feel you, but we struggling to get 32 votes in the Horn challenge, we'll be hard pressed to get 32 people actually submitting a beat.

I honestly think nikkas just won't support anything unless they come up with it or maybe the interest just ain't there anymore.

I mean, look how many threads we got in this bytch. The tunnel has been way more dead than this before. We actually got a lil decent traffic now, but for some reason dudes ain't fukking with the beat tourneys/contests like they used to. Everybody wants to do their own thing, which is cool,. but damn cats can't' even spare 15 min to listen and vote in a beat/tourney thread.
