When it came out, it was a lot of music to wrap my mind around. Not only that, but Speakerboxxx and The Love Below sounded way different from each other. Speakerboxxx sounded like an Outkast album and The Love Below sounded like a collage Prince, Earth Wind & Fire, and Parliament.

^^^ this sounds and feels like a leftover from ATLiens.

I know Kast was influenced by the artists I listed, but never went as far into those respective realms as Love Below does.

Album was dope. As said above I listened to Speakerboxxx more and to be honest think it's amazing. Overall great double CD. Will also mention that "Hey Ya" is one of my most hated songs period. I was pissed about that garbage being an Outkast stan. Everyday... every half hour... every 15 minutes... that song... :damn:

Maybe not their most classic album, but dope nonetheless...

I still listen to The Love Below from time to time.

The fact that Andre (one of the best lyricist of all time) was able to pull that off is still amazing to me...

Another great release by OutKast. The Love Below didn’t click for me until later on. Always had Speakerboxxx ahead but it’s pretty close for me now
