I was training for a half marathon a few years ago, and fractured the top of my foot (I was dumb and put off buying new shoes). I got myself up to 8 miles when the injury happened
Out of commission for 6 months or so. I've been freaked out about starting a program again, but I really need something to work towards. More about health, but also not becoming
There's a Marathon in May that also has a 10 mile urban run added in. I'm hoping that if I make this thread, it might keep me more accountable. I'm going to start a 10 week 10k novice training on 12/30.

I've been in the gym doing cardio and weights over the past few months some, and did my first actual run today (only 2 miles). Have to start somewhere! I'll post progress and info.
