i'd been listenin' to a lot of proof's music yesterday (which is obviously a lot of d12 and eminem) and then i got to thinkin' bout how this movie was a big deal 14 years ago; how do view the movie now? classic? good? decent at best? ok? or horrible?

It was the best hip-hop movie until SOC dethroned it. Definite personal classic.

i like how the film really did feel like a time period piece. i think they did a good job in capturin' the early to mid 90's, 94'ish/95'ish vibe
