Buff Bagwell signed with WWFe, and participated in the first WCW match on Monday Night Raw, Booker T vs Buff Bagwell..
~~~During the show, Bagwell was told NOT to wear his gimmick Top Hat during his promo, and he went ahead and did it anyway..
~~~When Bagwell showed up for Smackdown!, someone had punched a hole through the top hat..
The Feedback from Buff's match with Booker T was mostly bad, and Bagwell was given his release a few days later..

I don't think that's why he got released. I remember reading around that time that Buff was no showing shows and had his mom (the infamous Judy Bagwell) call in sick for him. Obviously, they weren't having that so they let him go.

they werent even gonna bring him in when they bought wcw but if you recall the night that vince announced he bought wcw he listed a bunch of wcw guys and buff got the biggest pop from the wwf crowd so they gave him a chance
after that when he got there they saw his work was sh1t and he was a tool backstage so he didnt last long
