you can add one yourself to it, but I'd rather get the one with the heatsink.OH, that's without heatsink tho. Isn't the heatsink required for PS5 install?
Yeah, I'm aware but what's the parameters with that? Easy to do? I saw they sale for cheap, but the ssds that comes with one are much more expensive, which is concerning regarding "ease" of installation.you can add one yourself to it, but I'd rather get the one with the heatsink.

A double sided heatsink can be included for free on that newegg page. Says a $19.99 value.OH, that's without heatsink tho. Isn't the heatsink required for PS5 install?

That's why I decided against this. I have 21 games installed on my PS5 including 5 PS5 games and I still have a full 1TB free. This is about a $100 premium over what I paid for 1TB and for that $100 mostly what it gets me is the ability to not delete games I'm not going to play or are no longer playing.Having 2.6tb is dope as hell. It’s nice knowing i can just randomly reinstall and game now without worries, just reinstalled Fall guys and Fortnite because why not?
Will probably never need to delete a game again for the rest of gen. If they come out with a pro model I’ll just swap it out and have even more SSD Space. I wonder how much 4tb drives will be by mid gen

i bought it
now will i be able to take the 1tb SN850 i already have installed on the PS5 and put it in my PC?
Nope. Once you put a SSD in your playstation its in there for good. I think it uses some fusing technology to where it solders itself onto the motherboard.
