this album fire. just didn't have the cohesiveness of the other two since they branched out.
the only garbage song on it was the one with Keri Hilson.

you could hear on certain songs how Malice was ready to be done with it.
just wanted to watch Madagascar with his kids while Pusha was reaching for the stars.

I always appreciated how much Pharrell and Pusha tailored their styles on Popular Demand to sound like Cam but I wondered what Cam thought about it.

The album was HEAT but coming off the mixtapes, I felt it would be an undeniable classic. It fell way short of that but still an album i bumped heavy. Reminds me of how i view We R The Streets.

I remember buying it 10 years ago, today. Went to Best Buy, 2008-2012 were the last days of buying cd's, for me, it felt more and more archaic, every time, but I still loved the new music, and the ritual of purchase.

It could be the most balanced Clipse album, in terms of just music:

Freedom
Doorman
Footsteps (maybe the best on album)
Never Will It Stop
I'm Good
Kinda Like a Big Deal, I forgot Ye had a verse on this,

Bad tracks: Counseling, All Eyes On Me, There Was a Murder,

I think there are serious flaws with all 3 of the Clipse albums.

The production is too Neptunes goofy on most tracks, for the darker subject matter. I don't think a lot of it holds up, music wise. The Neptunes style has aged badly, I think. Not all of it, but it's redundant on the first two Clipse albums.
