Generic???

These beats had the trunk on slam(OJ, I’m borrowing your slang).

Early Metro was a generic Lex Luger clone if we wanna point out generic beats

Lex and Tay Beatz as well

Fatboi gave him heat as well

Making the "trunk slam" dont stop the beats from being generic. Anybody can make a trunk slam just add 808/sub. You right about Metro though, hell he wasn't shyt until Southside and TM88 gave him the sauce. Fatboi sucked too.

His solo albums say otherwise

He’s an elite emcee but his beats for his solo albums have been pretty lackluster and forgettable

He one of my favorite emcees too
The only solo album he's put with somewhat bad beats was the one with that corny ass Kill Bill or what that shyt called with that gay ass anime shyt or whatever. But SpeakerBoxxx, Chico Dusty, Vicious Lies and Rumors, Who Got That Purp V1 & 2 all had dope beats.

Breathe is just one song. Where's these Fab albums with great production?
I mean from albums 2 to 4 if you read the producer credits you are gonna get hyped, then when you actually listen to alot of the songs they sound like throwaway mixtape beats. This was his Ye beat on From Somethin to Nothin, so trash it got pushed to be a bonus track :mjlol:

Just Blaze had multiple appearances over his career, but yes only one is memorable. Ironically, I think Ryan Leslie was probably his most consistent collaborator, even though they were all mainstream records.
