IDK where "Nas being the worst beat picker" came from but that nikka is far and away the worst. Hes not even top 50. But here's 10 nikkas that pick trash beats on a greater average than Nas.

No order

  • Jadakiss
  • Canibus
  • Cassidy
  • Eminem (been rapping over straight assery for over a decade)
  • Nicki Minaj
  • J Cole (some his shyt don't even be music, that shyt be cacophony)
  • Lil Baby
  • SPM
  • Russ
  • Jack Harlow
Bonus

  • Gucci Mane (He's put TONS of music and rapped over TONS of trash. And most of that trash came from Zaytoven. The beats he got from Lex, Drumma, 808 Mafia and Mike Will were mostly dope though)
  • OJ Da Juiceman (his ear for beats is so trash he rapped over trash Lex beats smh. Zaytoven has contributed his fair share of ass to this nikkas discography too!)

Eminem should always win these convos because he has far bigger budgets than anyone else yet constantly picks cheap, bad production. Nas has picked some questionable beats no question but he has also worked with some of the best producers of all time across multiple albums. You can't really say that about Em, who has been picking Dre imitation tracks for decades now.

Very weird that Eminem, obviously a huge hip hop nerd with unlimited money, never did a throwback album with vintage style production from the legends he came up on and features from the rappers he was inspired by.

Em never felt comfortable doing black music with any kind of soul in it. That’s why all his beats are stiff and robotic or rock n roll
