06/12/20 Smackdown: Or Is It Backlash Instead?

Didn't care to make the official thread but saw this posted and figured I would.



So two of the biggest stars in the company including a best wrestler alive tourney finalist, are wrestling for a prestigious championship title with a rich history on a free cable network program when there is a ppv 2 nights later?

Plus an intriguing and predictable six man tag match and a contract signing between 2 superstars who aren't really needed. Will Charlotte make an appearance and keep her streak of being on every show going? Who knows what else will happen tonight on another exciting episode of Smackdown. Maybe they'll convince us to gain more interest for Backlash.

Alright I'm convinced. Plus with Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy, Braun vs Miz and Morrison, and Lashley vs McIntyre this might be the greatest ppv EVER.

My universe in 2k19 is lit when it comes to the IC title. AJ went into Backlash as the champ vs Bryan in a 2 out of 3 falls match which Bryan won. Then they had a ladder match at Extreme Rules where AJ won it back. Now they’re going to have an Ironman match at Summerslam to end it for good. Plan is for AJ to win and have Bryan go on “paternity leave” until he returns at the Rumble where I’m going to have him try to win it and possibly face the Fiend at WM to have his story come full circle

What I want to know is what’s the endgame for Otis with the briefcase. Are they actually gonna have him win it? Is he just gonna cash in and lose? Will he put it on the line against a heel like Corbin or Ziggler and lose it to them? Makes no sense

I had a good idea with Sasha and Bayley too before I reset the universe. Had Sasha win MITB while Bayley was champ. Then have Sasha tell her she wouldn’t cash in against her or some shyt. And just have the tension and paranoia within Bayley build about whether she was actually gonna do it or not. Also found a custom briefcase that I downloaded that was all blue and had Sasha’s “Bosses Make Bank” logo on it

What if he cashes in on Braun tonight after Miz, Morrison, and Ziggler get upset from losing the match and attack Braun with chairs and weapons? Then Miz and Morrison say that even tho Otis now the champ they still have a title opportunity at backlash. And then Tucker says lets make it even and make it a tag match for the title. Then at the ppv he turns on Otis and causes him to lose the title and setup a feud between them. And this is why I shouldn't work for WWE but knowing Vince, who knows what kinda crazy ideas worse than this are running thru his mind.
