The concepts that J. Cole & Kendrick are attempting to challenge themselves articulating through their music is something different than most other artists are doing.

Is it GREAT to you? Nah...but it's a challenge that if they perfect...will shyt on Drake.

How easy is it for a top artist to make songs about the same shyt everyone else is? I mean... the template is in front of you 24/7.

How difficult is it to make an album, with no features, about real, albeit lame...to you...shyt that he's experienced? And to go plat?

How difficult is it to make a Black Conscious concept album that's unapologetic and polarizing?

Sorry breh... Drake is PERFECT at what he does. Make catchy songs being as LYRICAL as one can be...talking about bytches & bread.

I would love for him to try his hand at it. He's in a comfort zone with his music and it would prove a lot if he can actually make meaningful music for a full album. It sounds good in a freestyle but I doubt he'll actually try it.

I've come to terms that I dislike Drake because he's so brass with zero competition.


I want someone to take him down a peg.

Cole and Kendrick ain't it.

I'm tired of Kenny fakin emo, like he isn't backed by the most powerful players in American music.

And J Cole last album was diet lemonade status. I don't know what that means, but, that's how I felt of bumping it for the third time since I bought.

Drake is the king of hip hop and because I don't like his music doesn't mean I don't think he has skill.

And its not like I have a "welk, Drake should.." type opinion of him...i get it, but the music ain't for me

Nothing wrong with Drake, he can flow fast or slow, he's not exactly the top 5 lyricist of all time, but he doesn't need to be. He's the "summer sound" for rap, and he knows that. Catchy beats and a catch phrase people spew out like idiots (10 Bands thank you ) Besides that we have to keep in mind that there's an actual "rapper" called Riff Raff who people are paying to see
