You know come to think of it Taker did Bray NO favors by agreeing to have a match with him

at the time we all thought it would be an honor for bray to step into the ring with the deadman, that it would elevate him somehow. unfortunately we are now 2 months removed from mania and bray is in the same exact spot he was prior to the match.

taker didn't show up for ONE promo. not ONE face to face confrontation... before or even AFTER the match. as if bray wasn't even worthy of his time. dude just took off for a year, came back, beat him down, and that was that. like bray was a complete non factor.

it's as if the match didn't even happen.

i love taker, always will... but if we're being honest he did bray kinda dirty. dude coulda came back for at least 1 or 2 raws in the weeks leading up to the event and put bray over as a bigger deal.

It wouldn't have mattered, the point was to have a marquee match at mania, which it was. Taker doesn't need to some raw promo to put him over, he already did by having a match with him. Creative not having a clue is what fukked him over

Taker going into mania 32 on a "losing streak" to see if the old gun slinger can ride off on a W woulda made for a good story. We'll see what they have cooked up for him tho because he looked and moved like he was 10 years younger than he did at 30 thankfully. I thought he has damn near 60 when Brock mauled him

Wouldn't have hurt him to lose esp now that the streak is off his shoulders but like @I-Hate-You said it does kinda show where Bray is in the eyes of management. Bray is too intriguing of a character to just "be there" the way he is but its like they don't know what box to shove him in.

Brays doing himself no favors with these long winded promos. He needs to cut them down and get to the point already. The character has lots of potential but he talks a lot and never really says anything.
